English is not my natural language and I've seen this words a lot of times here, so what do they mean?

Freelance means sort of work. You have your proffesion but you do not sit at the office everyday. Freelancer is a person who sells services to employers without a long-term commitment to any of them.

It means on your own. Like a freelance photographer...you're working for yourself...not someone else.

well i know that a freelance and possibly a freelancer is a type photographer
