You're not just a Palestinian. You're also an Arab. There happens to be over a dozen Arab country in and around the Middle East where you could go to establish a home. Don't just limit yourself to Palestine & Lebanon, where all the poverty & violence is occuring. THINK!!

Absolutely it's fair. Both the Palestinians in Gaza and Hizbollah KIDNAPPED ISRAELI SOLDIERS. Israel, definitely tired of being attacked by terrorist scum, reacted. Now the TERRORISTS who KIDNAPPED ISRAELI SOLDIERS are screaming to the world for help because Israel is NOT PLAYING FAIR. It's ridiculous. Israel has every right to defend itself.
And by the way, Israel didn't take your country. For the longest time it was nobody's country. Then when the jews were getting it, all of a sudden muslims flocked in and said it was theirs. Ever wonder why no other Muslim country wants the Palestinians? Not Jordan, not Syria, not Egypt. Israel was handing over Gaza so you all could have your own state, and what happens? You elect Hamas, the uber-terrorists, to be your leaders. Lebanon and the Palestinians deserve what they get.
Hopefully Israel has more mercy than I'm capable of feeling for your predicament.

Your beef is with the UNITED NATIONS
1947 UN Partition Plan
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
On 29 November 1947 the United Nations Partition Plan for Palestine or United Nations General Assembly Resolution 181, a plan to resolve the Arab-Jewish conflict in the British Mandate of Palestine, was approved by the United Nations General Assembly, at the UN World Headquarters in New York. The plan partitioned the territory of Western Palestine into Jewish and Arab states, with the Greater Jerusalem area, encompassing Bethlehem, coming under international control. The failure of the British government and the United Nations to impliment this plan and its rejection by Palestinian Arabs resulted in the 1948 Arab-Israeli War.

Doesn't Israel have the right to co-exist with Palestine? Think of it from the Israeli perspective for just a moment. They pulled their settlements out of Gaza and were preparing to do so with the West Bank, and what happens?
The Palestinians put Hamas in power, who refuse to accept the existence of Israel. How can Israel even hope to deal with that.
Now on the other side, Palestine absolutely has the right to exist. It should be a nation in itself. And there inlies the problem. How can two nations exist when neither is willing to listen to the other. BOTH have ancestral claims to the region. BOTH have legitimate claim over Jerusalem.

I believe The US favors israel a little too much. Prior to 1948 most of that land over there belonged to The Palestinian state and the UN gave it all to Israel and yet israel wanted more such as the Gaza. As proud as I am to be an american we need to stop the favortism to israel who is no different then what sadam tried to do to Kuwait and take over land that does not belong to them. We went to Kuwaits aid so why not go to lebanon or palestinins aid.

Nobody took anything, the British gave the country to the Jewish people after WWII.
I am sorry for the Lebanese people that are in harms way, they don't deserve this. I am not sorry for Hezbollah, they have what they deserve coming to them.
Any paramiltary group (or state) that violates the right of a sovereign nation to exist by invading and capturing and kidnapping needs to be dealt with quickly and severely.
To illustrate this the US took action against Iraq for the invasion of Kuwait in the Gulf War during the early nineties.

Is it fair that Lebanon allowed Hezbollah kidnap Israeli soldiers?
Is it fair that Lebanon, a nation that has its own military allows a terrorist organization called Hezbollah to control Lebanon?
Hezbollah provoked this attack.
Tell Iran to call back Hezbollah.
