I've been doing the Weight Watchers points diets for just over a week and i'm finding really difficult finding decent food. I know that i'm restricted to the amount of food I can eat, but I want the small amounts I am eating to be more tasty, and filling. Has anyone whos on this diet got any tips as to what I can eat thats gonna fill me up, and be low in points value. Also i'm craving chocolate like mad. What normal chocolate is low in points value?

my first week doing this diet i was starving but keep at it cos it duz work-its just a case of swapping what u uasually have for something thats 1. more substantial and 2. less points- curly wurlys are only 2 and a half points hope this helps-fill up on fruit and veg especially the zero point stuff that has no points such as tomatoes . a tin of tomatoes heated with a sprinkle of cheese is both yummy and hardly any points so u can afford to have a couple of slices of ww bread with it-it will fill u up- keep at it good luck

Correct me if I'm wrong...but it sounds like you're eating the same foods that you were before, but just reducing the amount you're eating? I'm not sure what your dietary intake was pre-WW, but it sounds like you may not be getting enough of the right kinds of foods. If this is what you're doing, it'll only get you so far and you'll run the risk of frequenly feeling hungry (which you want to avoid on WW!). You may need to start incorporating new foods into your diet that have better points value. Fruits/veggies will always give you a good bang for your buck point-wise and will help you stay fuller longer. Also, be on the lookout for foods with higher fiber...high fiber foods also help you with the fullness factor.

Regarding the chocolate...I hate to say it, but you're going to have a hard time finding point friendly 'normal' chocolate. If you're absolutely craving real chocolate, you're going to have to take the hit points-wise. My tip is to plan your chocolate ahead of time and to stay away from low-quality chocolate. If you endulge in some really good quality chocolate...it'll make it worth spending the crazy amount of points to satisfy the craving. And make sure you journal those points!!

Lol. I never thought I would need all the info my mom forced on me when she was on Weight Watchers but here some of it.

Drop Beef~Good sub is turkey. There is ground turkey, Turkey bacon, turkey sausage, turkey hambuger paties, and (surprise) even turkey jerky. It taste great and you can use it in all your beef recipes.
Use wheat products~ Instead of white bread, eat wheat, use wheat pasta (very good) Wheat flour, Wheat Tortillas, you get the point.
Lots of veggies~ you can eat and many as you want so fill up!! They are so good for you too. Try lots of green veggies. Green beens, Peas, Brocolii, Okra... Not only is it food that helps your brain but it fills you faster.
Sweet~ Don't stop your sweet tooth. Your entitled to enjoy life... "skinny Cow" Ice cream sandwhiches. The taste just like regular Ice cream without the fat. And they are really called "Skinny Cow". The weight watchers Ice cream taste diet. thats no fun. But they do have one Ice cream thats so so good and taste regular. Its the Toffee Crunch bars. The best thing to do is to go through the WW Complete Food Companion (available where you have your meetings--they also have one that lists points for different restaurants--the Dining Out Companion). It lists the points values for 16,500 foods. You should be able to find foods like different cheeses that you could crumble over a salad, for instance. Try different spices to flavor the food while it cooks, or to sprinkle on top--like soups. If you eat a small cup of soup (the best one for the points is the WW veggie recipe) before your meal, it should help to make you feel fuller. Another good trick is ice cold water before eating. Try a variety of lettuces or fresh spinach instead of what you normally eat--something with a different taste sensation.

Weight Watchers has several cookbooks for ideas for every meal, for every kind of food. Their magazine gives lots of tips, too.

I couldn't bear the idea of giving up chocolate when I started. I loved good chocolate (like Godiva's oyster shells stuffed with macadamia filling, but in a pinch would devour Cadbury Roast Almond Bars). WW now has candy (truffles is one) that you can buy (Wal-Mart carries it where I live) that is one point a piece. This didn't satisfy me, to be honest. However, I did discover WW ice cream bars--their Giant Chocolate Fudge Bars are just fantastic--and they're only 1 pt. It's like a fudgescle, but bigger, creamier, and just as chocolatey. They have cones like the drumsticks (don't remembe their exact name), and toffee bars. They also have snack cakes that are 1 pt.--chocolate with chocolate icing. They're not bad if you don't wolf it down and drink it with your allotment of milk or unsweetened tea or water. The food companion I mentioned lists different candies--none that taste any good are low in points. By the way, while reading in the grocery store check-out lane, I learned to lose the weight from eating one M&M you have to walk the distance of a football field. Suddenly those snack cakes taste pretty good!

The general feeling you're having should go away soon. You're feeling somewhat deprived because you are making some drastic changes. Think of it as a challenge--you're a smart lady and you're going to beat the scale by eating better and finding new ways to do it. Just don't give up. If you do, you'll still be as heavy in six months as you are now if you give up. If you don't, it will be whole new you. Best of luck.

on an identical time as I agree that the seen Weight Watchers is a solid thought i think of the quantity it expenses on a weekly / month-to-month foundation is a rip off. I certainly have lost 6 stones in 10 months via eating healthily and workout, no Weight Watchers or Slimming worldwide in sight. there is not any rapid restoration to dropping weight and it must be performed for you and to no longer please others. the substantial's it is all right down to dedication. Weight Watchers can in straightforward terms artwork out the factors in the nutrition you consume, it is as much as you to no longer over indulge.
