Can you prove you exist without someone calling you a dumb.as.s?

Gladly. Consider the following statement: "Either this statement is false or God exists." We must decide whether it is true or false. Clearly, the statement cannot be false, because that would mean that the statement was in fact correct about its own falsehood, therefore the statement must be true. So either the statement is false or God exists. However, we just established that the statement is not false. Therefore, God exists.

Of course, this will not be satisfying to the extreme skeptic, who might in his unbelief deny the principle of bivalence, and therefore fail to conclude the truth of a statement from its non-falsity. No matter, there are arguments that do not require such an assumption. Let us call the following statement X: "if X is true, then God exists." Now suppose X were true: in that case we could show from statement X that god exists, thus we have shown that if X is true then God exists. But that's what statement X says! So X is true and therefore God exists.

Perhaps you might think that statements such as these should not be involved in any valid proof, on the grounds that they are transparently self-referential. No matter, the good lord has provided us with proofs that do not rely in the slightest on self reference. Consider the well-established principle that light is both a wave and a particle. Of course, particles are not waves, thus light is a wave and light is not a wave. Now, knowing that light is a wave, clearly either light is a wave or God exists. But light is not a wave. Therefore, we have established once again that God exists. Hallelujah!

Please ignore the fact that every last one of these proofs could just as easily be adapted to show that God does not exist.

Think about the creation of the universe.

Science tells us that the universe was created at the Big Bang; that nothing existed before it. However, Newton's third law of motion tells us that 'To every action there is an equal and opposite reaction'. The Big Bang was a reaction, but against what? Clearly the prime mover - the creator, if you will - of the universe was an unimaginably powerful force that operated beyond the laws of physics creating everything from nothing.

Isn't that the very definition of God?

Now, of course, that doesn't mean that this force (or God) still intervenes in human affairs, or that it can be aligned to one religion or another.

Sit looking out of a window, or be outside surrounded by nature if possible. Where you can see tree's plants birds grass etc, All just moving around in the breeze. Let the view become as a whole scene to you not focusing on any one thing.
Now say something to God, ask a question that requires maybe a simple Yes/No answer.
See the answer come to you from the scene in front of you. Know this is one way God can communicate with us.
Everything to gain, nothing to loose.

I answered a few questions of this type, listing the types of proofs in one answer and proving Gods existence in another answer. See my ans. to questions from my answers profile page.

I don't have time to prove now. But briefly Science presupposes the existence of Universals as its foundation. Because of universality being an intrinsic property of universals there must exist an ultimate universal. An ultimate universal must be a being. Therefore God exists.

This is too easy.

Why do morons like you seem to get some sort of pleasure out of knocking peoples beliefs? Is your life so dull that you feel the need to have a childish dig at the faith of another human being? I am a non-believer but I would never mock those that choose to believe in God. You really do need to find yourself a hobby and while you're looking, get a life.

There can never be proof of anything divine or supernatural... At least, not with the technology we have now. Maybe someday, though. It's pretty much all about belief. We have no physical proof of a metaphysical world. It does help the case, though, that some of these Gods have been around for many thousands of years, and haven't really changed much (Native American, Greek, Roman, Celtic, Japanese, etc). :)

Can you prove to me that your kidneys exist without using the word x-ray?

Just because you can't see something without the right tools doesn't mean it's not real.

The 'tool' you use to see God is your soul and that can't happen until you're in the next life.

You asking that question kinda proves that god exists! Because if you ask the question then it means you are alive which means you were born which means your parents were born... and all the way back to Adam and Eve who weren't born they were created. By God. So god exists. Yay!

Romans 1:19-20
'since what my be known about God is plain to them, because God has made it plain to them. for since the creation of the world God's invisible qualities --- his eternal power and divine nature -- have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that men are without excuse.'

the proof is in the complexity of creation ... but many refuse to see or acknowledge it
