Well, I used to let ruin my whole week. Unfortunately that was when I used to take it as a personal attack. I realize now that I was ignorant of the facts as they where.
I have since come to understand a bit more about human nature and broadened my perspective on the world. If you can come to understand the most ignorant of people you will see that they are simply ignorant of the facts of life and are frustrated by it.
Some have had bad experiences with people and see every "silhouette of the upright walking beasts" as being the same.
So for me I try to keep this in mind and let it blow off. Sometimes I have to vent a bit, especially when trapped in a situation.
And last but not least, to let it all go at the end of the day, as to not hold and resentment.
Resentment only holds me trapped,(and lets them win, if want to perceive it that way!)

I try to never let rude people ruin my day. Not saying it doesnt happen. But you never really know what they are going through in their lives or what has happened to them that day.
They might not be intentionally being rude just letting stress and their emotions get the best of them without even realizing it.
Besides that even if they are rude by nature or intentionally out to hurt someones feelings or make someone feel bad they are not worth my time. Life is too short to have ruined days caused by someone I do not even know.
Keep your head up and keep smiling. They are not worth anything else!

I used to let a person's rude behavior ruin a good portion of my day, or my whole day, depending on how rude that person was. But now, I settle down for a while and put them out of my mind. It took a while for me to gain the type fo control needed to do that; but I resolved that I won't allow some dolt, who I will never see again in my entire life (most times) get the better of me. Thanks for the question.

Depends, most rude people i give the exception, envision them falling down the stairs, or "will them cancer", etc.
Typically most rude people you forget about probably in the next hour or so, or maybe a few days.
I don't pity them or laugh at their sad lies, I typically hate the reasons as to why they are rude. I blame the underlying social structure instead of the people.

I don't let them ruin my day. The Bible says that a soft answer turns away anger. You should try it sometime as when someone is rude to you, be kind to them instantly and you will see them immediately fall into a state of uncertain and embarrassment.

Sometimes they can put you so far out of character that it's near impossible to stay cool about the situation, if you're not a very well distinguished person. All in all, It's almost as though I reflect on it and think that that's something so far below me It'd almost be foolish to retaliate, there's obviously something wrong in their lives to make them act that way. Everyone only wants to be happy in the end. So It'd almost incline me to be nice to them, if not help them with their problem as best possible.

I refuse to let people's negativity and rudeness get to me. Why should I let them be successful? The best way to deal with rude people is to kill them with kindness. That makes them feel like a real schmuck!

Neither one. I don't think its that important to worry about, maybe they are hurting for some reason. And two, I don't know that their lives are sad, maybe they are great and they are just in a bad mood. the world doesn't revolve around you. LOL
