Starbucks SUCKS...local shops offer better coffe, better service, better prices and a better atmosphere!

I work for a Starbucks and I actually prefer going to my local coffee shop. Not because the coffee is better. But because I like the people who work there and it's a nice change from working at a Starbucks all day. Its really up to you though, one is not better then the other.
Another easy way to choice is which coffee shop has the best eye candy =)

There is a local privately owned coffee shop in my area and I love it! They are friendly, their food and coffee are wonderful, and even though they are the only coffee shop under their ownership---they gave me a frequent customer card the first time I visited.
They make their own little newsletters with proverbs written on them, and samples of their fresh baked cookies and brownies.
It's cheaper and the atmosphere is much better.
I don't care for Starbucks and only go there is someone else wants to go and there aren't any other places around...(like a Coffee Beanery or Barnies)

I do love starbucks - but it is so expensive and we haven't got one close to where I live ( which is not a bad thing as I'd be broke ! ) so local coffe shops are a good alternative.

They are both the same in my opinion - though right now Starbucks has Summer Peach and Blackberry Muffins that are out of this world! If you remember Stouffers old Blueberry Muffins, then you catch a glimpse of what I am saying!

Starbucks, love it all even the pastries at their coffee shop, and the people who work for them are always so friendly.

Same most of their coffee comes from a third world county like Ethiopia with out a free trade.

My local. I go to an Organic free trade coffee shop. When you stay there you get it in ceramic cups, not the jenky paper crap.

My local coffee maker in my kitchen, you can't get a better cup a joe can't get any more local or convienant!

Cafè Latino, for me is the best.. Star Buck, well, not bad, but I love cappuccino and they don't know how to do it as I like it, but that is not Burger King...jajaja. I can't have it my way, so that is why I go to Cafè Latino.
