I'll compare them by positions. Meaning, I'll compare Michael Ballack with Steven Gerrard and Klose with Podolski.
In the midfield, Ballack is better. At least, if we compare them only from the World Cup 2006 performance. Ballack really did a lot for Germany in the WC, while Gerrard slightly dissapointed the ENglish fans, because he and Lampard couldn't get things done in the midfield.
For the forwards, Klose is better than Podolski. Klose has more experience of course, and has a very stable performace. Podolski is still very young. He will get better, and by time, he'll be the number one German striker.

in the cup Ballack hasn't shown anything, maybe because of his pre-cup injury... Steven Gerrard was ok... Klose scored the most goals... and Podolski won best young player. Gerrard and Ballack could have done better i think! and Klose was like really great and started to slow as the cup progressed.
so... i pick Podolski!

Gerrard is way better than Klose and Podolsky because he can strike the ball as well as set it up, and he can do it better than Bad Luck, oops.. Ballack....

I totally love ballack, and podolski was very impressive; but I'd have to say it's Klose. He was totally awesome and exceptional.. He has and showed great skills..

Gerrard is cute ...ballack is hot klose is talented...podolski i am not a fan of him any way

Its is a complex choice.They all have played well in club match(I have not watched podolski's game) but according to their performance in worldcup the best payer is Miroslav Klose as he was not so good in his last games. After that Pldoloski was good

Steven Gerrard even if they do`nt play in the same position`s it does not matter he is simple the BEST !!!!!!!!!
