I can't see Venables playing 2nd fiddle to the relatively inexperienced Mclaren

Should have had a clear-out of the old coaching staff, Got some one new & ENGLISH of course, say Sam Allerdyce or someone like him.
To me we still got new problem, because McClaren was part of the old one! His Ideas were being put forward to the Swede!
And why did the FA (who should also have a clear-out) take so long to say he had the job..did no-one else want it? All that cash spent, nothing in return AGAIN! I'll still wave the flag and cheer them on, but the next time Mars rename a Mars bar, with all these guys at the helm, "Don't Be Daft" is a better name!

As always and with much things in management, the person at the top is just a front man and everybody behind the scenes are the people who do the real work.

Hopefully Terry will be the man who all the ideas are run past, (much as Steve was with that Swedish ****), at least the man has a bit of tactical nous about him, and his managerial skills were never brought into question last time, just his image.

i may be the subsequent manager. Then i'd positioned all the gamers at the same time and say excellent fingers up who ought to be the goalie,ok who ought to be a defender ok, who ought to be a ahead, excellent thats my crew. positioned one million pounds in my monetary organization reason you may not favor me next time if we lose.
