"The Shinning" is definitly a classic. "REDRUM REDRUM"!

As Bachman, I'd have to go with Road Work, with The Long Walk coming in as a close second.
As King, I don't know, it's tough. I was a Tower junkie until 6 & 7 came along (I thought those two were less inspired, and maybe more hurried than the rest) so my first impulse is one of the tower books, probably #3, The Wastelands, but The Stand is way up there too.

absolute favourite is Needful Things, Pet Sematary was also great, so much that he scared himself with it while writing it. The Regulators (Bachman) good as well, I scared the crap out of people by working excerpts from it into posts in a community. HAHA
