I know I've asked this before....but it's a poll so I need as many answers as possible.
Do you get chocolate craving during your period?
I don't but my boyfriend says MOST women do.......
I disagree! I think it just depends on the woman and how much she likes chocolate!
So if you'd be so kind....tell me if you get cravings for chocolate once a month during your cycle or just whenever. Mine's just whenever..... there's no method to the maddness of when I need a
cocoa fix! LOL

Thank you ladies.....
Now go eat your M&M's. he-he!

NOTE: IF YOU'VE ALREADY GIVEN ANSWER TO THIS POLL...PLEASE DON'T ANSWER AGAIN. THANKS GIRLS!!

It is quite normal for women to crave chocolate as well as salt, and meat (like burgers or hot dogs). That time of the month our bodies experience a change in hormones which can make us crave foods that we don't eat very often or not at all. The chemical imbalance can make us crave different things sometimes that our mind finds comforting. It varies for me, I crave chocolate so badly sometimes and then there are times when I have to have a hot dog and would kill for one. Other times I have to have Lays plain potato chips. It depends on what my body tells me at that particular time.

No, I don't get any type of craving during "that time of the month". And actually, I rarely crave chocolate, but every once in a while I get this "MUST HAVE A MILKYWAY" urge -- and no matter what time of the day or night, I have to go out and buy that particular candybar -- strange....?!

Oh yes, my chocolate cravings are my first, most consistant symptom of PMS every month, and it lasts for a few days every month. Then when that time is over, chocolate isn't a real craving of mine, until the next month.

No. I have never really been a chocolate lover. The only chocolate I will eat is usually chocolate cake (homemade). It is rare (usually once every few months) that I have a craving for it.

Yep, I think I go carb crazy for a few days. Since I enjoy chocolate anyway, I definitely notice that's the time I'm prone to snagging a Hershey bar at the checkout line.

If you have looked at my pic I'm definitely not a woman but I get chocolate craving also. I tend to believe the popular theory that chocolate releases endorphins into your body that elevate your mood.(I know I'm always happy eating a Reeses Fastbreak)!!!!
Peace...
