I like the more fantasy-driven movies, like "Lord of the Rings" and "Pirates of the Caribbean." Outside of that, my favorite movie is "A Simple Twist of Fate," a non-comedic movie starring Steve Martin.

Misery or Nurse Betty. Those movies were funny in a dark and twisted sense. Any movie with dark humor I like. Slingblade was good too.
