I don't know what to do to entertain the other children that are comming does anyone have any birthday party ideas? What kinds of games can I get for them to play if their ages range from one to five?

I wouldn't worry too much about having organized games--kids in that vast age range would just have fun playing! I suggest simply giving out age-appropriate (and safe for all ages!) toys from the dollar stores--that way they can simply play while adults chit-chat and monitor the fun! The only organized thing I would do is the cake where the one-year-old get his or her own little cake to mash around in!

well i didnt do much for my one year old... i just left him at home (we were going to have a picnic party but the heat made us stay home) and he wasnt feeling good anyway because of his teeth, so we just gave him the cake and let him tear into it..then the following day we took him out and got him his presents. games? water baloons? (the heat) maybe putt putt or go to chucky cheese or something. if there are other children there, go to a place where children can play, a park or an amusement place for kids (arcades) sorry, no more ideas are comming to me.

At his age he don't need a birth day party, have one for you self and invite some children they will have fun with cake toy Ice cream, drinks, games.

Personally, I think a party for a one year old should be limited to the family. Your child isn't going to remember his first birthday anyway.

Well for my son we got a jumping castle, the kids loved it, plus he was able to get in on the fun also. Who cares what anyone says that your son won't remember it's your decision I had my son a huge party for his first and took tons of pictures!!! Good Luck
