Face it. The Tigers are for real, and they're really the best team in baseball. The only question now is, do they break the Cubs record for most wins in the regular season ever?

Well, if Detroit continues at their current rate (.681), they will finish the season with about 116 wins, at least tying the wins record. That's a pretty high level to maintain, but as of now, they're playing at that level. If they can notch it up just a bit, they could take that record.

And "Daniel Z", The record for most wins is a tie; 116 each for the Cubs & the Mariners, BUT the Cubs had fewer losses in their winning season, so they hold the record.

Alright no .. now your thinking too much of the Tigers.. Sure their a good team .. i like them .. but face it the wont win the World series this year .. they just wont .. . They are not the marlins team of a few years back ..
dont get me wrong though, i would love it if they won the world series .. and to be the best team in baseball, you have to win the world series , and it wont be them .. you wont like this, but it will be the Chicago White Sox

The Tigers win not get close to SEATTLE'a 116 win record. They will not even get to 100 this year. I predict 96 wins maximum and that they do not make the playoffs!

hahaha. No fricin. They are not even on pace to beat the 1998 Yankees AL wins record. The Tigers may be for real, but let's not go crazy. I can also guarantee you that they willnot go to the world series silly girl!

they wont win 116 games, they might win 105. they are too inexperienced and most likely will break down.
