The chest area. Best practise, product? Rather than go to a professional...suggestions welcome.

NOOOOOOOO don't do that! Unless you are a teddy bear, don't wax your chest! I mean it's natural for a man to have more hair so unless you are really disgusted by it, don't to it! Now if you are serious about that then try trimming it first and then with cold wax strips by VEET (following the instructions in the box) get that baby soft chest you want! It really works and you'll have smooth chest for about 4 weeks at least!

If you're going to wax then go to a professional. It is pretty painful but it will do the trick. I wouldn't wax unless you are really uncomfortable with the hair. You can end up getting ingrown hairs that look like pimples.
Supposedly waxing actually thins the hair over time because it is yanking the hair at the root and damaging the root. Eventually the hair grows thinner because of that. I don't know if that's true but it's what I've heard.
Either way, a bit of hair is sexy but you want to be comfortable in your own skin. It's ok for a guy to do this too.

I can't stand smooth chests on a grown man. A small amount of chest hair is very tactile. For me anyway.

the new nair easy wax microwave is good, my boyfriend did his chest with it yesterday and it didn't hurt or leave a rash

dont wax use veet formally known as immac nice and smooth without the redness and doesnt grow back itchy as shaving with a razor would
