I keep getting emails & IM`s from very nice people with hard luck stories & lots of cash that they want to give me. I was just wondering how common this is

It happens to everyone. They keep doing it because some people are sympathetic and innocent, so they do give money to these con-artists. Sad, but true. If it didn't work on anyone, they wouldn't do it.

Once your email address gets loose on the Internet the junk mail and scams just keep on flooding in. It's a real plague.

It is one of the worse "scourges" of the Internet! Did you know that over 700 million was stolen from victims of the Nigerian 911 letter scam? I always forward mine to the abuse department and let them deal with it.

Just report it as spam.
I got a bunch of those too and reported it and haven't got any since.

Hi. You can also block these guys but they change their info so often maybe not........Had a friend that actually fell for that crap. He learned a lesson I guess.

It is very common.
We all get those. They HOPE that you are stupid! They hope that we are ALL stupid.
