I've already answered some of your other questions. And don't listen what ppl are saying, there's a lot of stuff not true on the news, or wherever they heard those rumors.
Come and see for yourself. The whole region is safe place for visit and you're welcomed around here.
Have fun!

Is Serbia Safe

Belgrade is as safe as any other European capital... We may have a lower standard than western Europe but, for a tourist that may be an advantage, 'cause you get more for less money...
Only thing not safe in Belgrade is taking a TAXI, they'll rip you off if they hear that you're from some other part of Serbia, let alone, a tourist from abroad... ;)

Hope you have a pleasant stay, and see for yourself why no one who ever came to Serbia regretted it...

I was there few months ago and didn't have any problems. Well , it shows that the country needs improvement in almost everything, but you still can enjoy your stay there. There are very good hotels in Belgrade and Novi Sad, bars are also nice and drinks are not so expensive. Concerning safety, don't show up as a tourist with money, keep it low. Stay out of bad looking bars and you'll be just fine. There are no suicide bombers or any terrorist crap. That country was fighting mine just few years ago, but here I am still alive. If you decide to go there, have a nice and safe trip!

Yes it is! Siria allegedly is connected with Hezbollah, not Serbia! Serbia has become pro -western, democratic country, that is very safe. They have variety of programs for foreign tourists, plenty of museums, theaters, musical events. For example, in the past year Metallica, Sting, The Cardigans, the best DJs in the world visited and performed in Serbia. Believe me, you won't regret it.

Serbia vs Hezbollah? What? What's up to you, people? What are you speaking off? All I can say is Serbia is more safe than many western countries.

ppl who dont know answer to question really shouldn't be answering...because some of them make really stupid prejudices... they watch documentary on TV and they cant even remember the right name of country they were watching. dont listen them,Serbia is nice country, perhaps not so great for ppl who live there, because most of them are poor and in a bad situation.i heard from a friend who lives there that there are lot of ppl depressed and sad,but that is not something that should stop u from visiting.i haven't been there,i live in country nearby,we were having a war with serbia,10 years ago,but both people who were responsible for it are dead, and i have no hard feelings against young ppl and everybody who havent dont anything other than defending their homes, same as those on "my side"...

Yes, except Kosovo.
Don't listen to the ignorant Americans who don't know geography let alone political or economic situation anywhere in the world.
They think Serbia is in Asia, HAHAHA!
