Chav (also Chavette (female chav), Charv or Charva) is a slang term in wide use throughout the United Kingdom since 2004. It refers to a subcultural stereotype of people with fashions such as flashy "bling" jewelry, clothing with the beige Burberry pattern (which has since been discontinued by the company), and designer clothing such as Adidas and Nike; possibly an uneducated and uncultured background; a tendency to congregate around places such as fast-food outlets, bus stops, car parks or other shopping areas; and a culture of antisocial behaviour and violence. Many regard chavs to have a musical taste mainly including garage, RnB, hip hop, House and Trance. Response to the term has ranged from amusement to criticism that it is a new manifestation of classism.

"Chav is a derogatory slang term in popular usage throughout the UK. It refers to a subculture stereotype of a person who is uneducated, uncultured and prone to antisocial or immoral behaviour. The label is typically, though not exclusively, applied to teenagers and young adults of white working-class or lower-middle class origin. Chav is used for both sexes, where a male chav is sometimes referred to as a chavster and a female as a chavette"

A wanker is a jerk-off.

I believe a minger is a whiner.

These are all Brit terms.

Annoying men and women who care only about spending too much money on clothes and accessories. The term is used in England, but other cultures have similar groups, but just refer to them by a different name.
