From my own experience, he went on a diet, put his beeper on vibrate and took off unexpectedly (I assume when she beeped), was on the computer (email) all the time, was never available for the kids, started taking muscle provider, had a total change in personality. He also was a glory seeker in Dorrance Fire Department but when a woman started whispering how wonderful he was in his ears he showed these definite changes. Our daughter of 17 even asked him if he had a girlfriend, which I found out much later. She told me one night to leave her father and find someone who would treat me better. She said her father had no time for his family and what hurts me the most is I stayed for 30 years knowing the same thing but thought that I was doing the right thing for our children. If he has given you reason for suspection than you are probably correct. It is the hardest thing I have ever done but I am doing it and so can you. Good luck and I hope things work out for you. He wouldn't get couseling and try to work things out for us but I hope you are more successful in your relationship.

There is a saying that if you suspect something is going on then there is something going on. No one knows your spouse better than you do, so if you notice a significant change in their behavior, routine, mannerisms, etc. then there could be something going on. Maybe it's not cheating, but it could be. One big indication is they suddenly have new friends that they want to hang out with and you are not invited. Maybe they go out and then don't tell you anything about the night or their friends.
There are subtle hints that give it away and you just have to trust your instincts. Don't be so gullible that you are willing to make excuses for all of the strange behaviors. You may never know the truth becasue some spouse's are unwilling to admit to having an affair.

The best advice I can give is go with your gut. People will tell you so many different ways and things a guy will do different but some guys will act perfectly normal and still do it. When my husband cheated and even when he denied it I just knew. I had this horrible feeling that something wasn't right and then it turned out he did.

It's really easy.
1. Where did all the money go. (He probably has to at least entertain her a bit)
2. Does he spend a lot of time NOT in your bed at night? -or- If he absolutely has to travel for his job (and I wouldn't recommend that you let him) does he call you a lot and talk to you, or do you go long periods without hearing from him?
