1) both are equally important. A movement could have a bad goal yet try to implement it in a good manner or vis versa.

2) Assuming the original purpose/goal was valid in the first place it would still be valid.

3) Yes and no. They should support the original intent of the movement but possibly branch off as reformers to try to promote the original purpose.

The feminist movement should aim at the global problem

Here are the Millennium Development Goals, approved by the nations of the world in 2000.

Goal 1: Eradicate extreme poverty and hunger
Goal 2: Achieve universal primary education
Goal 3: Promote gender equality and empower women
Goal 4: Reduce child mortality
Goal 5: Improve maternal health
Goal 6: Combat HIV/AIDS, malaria and other diseases
Goal 7: Ensure environmental sustainability
Goal 8: Develop a Global Partnership for Development

All feminists should be keenly aware of the progress everywhere in terms of Goal 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6. These are the mothers of our planet, and they should be involved in the education of women's health, human rights, the health of our unborn and newborn children and the health of new mothers everywhere.

Our governments agree that this is good for all of us. Let's help them make this happen.

1. Actions speak more loudly than words.

2. Many who have strayed from their group's founding principles either dont' realize it or care.

3. Original members can still support what they started out supporting without claiming allegiance to all the new things that arose over time.

Feminism in America still has stuff to accomplish, but those leading its organizations now may be alienating many who would like to fight for individual issues rather than parts of the overall agenda they don't agree with.

If your movement seeks to alienate a group or rise a group above others in importance, it is radical and should be abandoned
