Suez Canal is the boundary between Asia and Africa. Thus, Sinai is considered to be in Asia. It is a part of Egypt and governed by Egyptian government.

Sinai is part of Egypt, yes governed by the Egyptian government. The Sinai peninsula is situated between both the african & Asian continents, geographically considered a part of Asia.
