I want to have a charity fashion show but I need some clothes. Do you think that any local stores would donate some clothes for this event???

Ask all of them,the more stores you ask the better response you will get, but if you are going to ask, ask using a formal letter followed up by a phone call or a visit, just be prepared for a lot of rejection.... I would also highlight how the event will benefit their business

you can contact some of your local stores and ask them if you could borrow some clothes for the show...if you ensure them that you will give them credit for this occassion, they will view your charity fashion show as a way to advertise themselves. In that case i think that they would donate some clothes.

your best bet is to try local stores because they're more likely to give then some name brand or department store. tell them that you will return the clothing in the same condition you got them in. also make sure to advertise the store or give them credit if they do donate. good luck!

Try the Goodwill, Salvation Army or your local homeless shelter. Otherwise, give it up because this scam has been tried before.

Yeah, but probably only to borrow and you'd have to promise them a few mentions in the show, and any advertising you do for it.
