I am a student of BE Instrumentation. I want to do MTech but.....?

I have seen that there are very little seats in india in the IITs and NITs. I also think of switching to Electronics. Is it possible? Will it be difficult for me to clear GATE in Electronics as I am from Instrumentation?

as regards switchover enquire in your college regarding procedure for shift over,usually all colleges do entertain this.As regards clearance of gate in electronics, it is entirely on you as to how go about it.
