I have never seen a ghost, but I work in a school that is located in a wooded area. Behind the school is an old, family burial ground from the early to late 1800's. At least once a year, a person, or persons will report either seeing a ghost, or encountering a strange phenomena in the section of the school which abuts the cemetery.
Over the past winter, the public safety officers at our school chased a "person dressed in a civil war uniform" into the woods, only to have the "person" disappear into thin air. Students who live in the dorms routinely trace footprints in the newly fallen snow which will lead straight up to one of the headstones and end right there, and others will feel "creepy", and "spooky" sensations while they study in the library which is in that area. I've always said that if the afterlife has nothing better to offer these poor souls but the opportunity to hang around our little school, then that redefines my definition of hell.

dozens of times. Now when i saw this i mean "felt" too. I've seen things move on their own as well. Your probaly thinking that i'm exagerating, but i grew up in a "haunted" area, particularily my parrent's and grandparent's house. I'm also the head of tech and co-founder of a paraphisiolgy reasearch team (ghost hunting research) and i have seen alot of things that seemed like ghosts turn out to be less supernatural than what they seemed at first. And I'm not a pyschic and my team doesn't use pyschics to investigate something either. The latest ghostly expereince i have had would have been about a week ago at my house. I was trying to fall asleep and i was the only one around and i keep hearing someone talking. I got up and checked anything that could have caused the noise. It stoped for a while, then i kept feeling something taping my side. I turned my back to the side of the bed where i was being touched at and then my back was touched. I turned on the light got up and looked for what could have been doing it. Well it stoped and i went to sleep for a while then i was awaken by voices again. I had to wake up earlier that morning so i lost it and yelled " leave me the bloody hell alone" every thing got quiet and then my door slamed. I went back to sleep and was still sleepy that morning. I'm not saying it was a ghost, i could easily have been dreaming

Yes when I was younger. It appeared as a woman. She looked like she was composed of thick smoke but the smoke wasn't circulating. It was still as she moved and she kind of glided across the floor. It was in the middle of the night and I needed to get a drink of water and I heard a noise come from my bathroom which was only a few feet away. As soon as I looked in the direction of the bathroom doorway, this ghost came gliding around the corner.I was scared so I ran into the bedroom and she followed me in there. I tried to wake my mom up and she wouldn't budge. At this point the ghost was right at the foot of my bed so I just closed my eyes and laid there until I fell asleep. never saw the ghost since but when I told my mom about it, she told me about how a lady owned the house before us and she died in the house.

True story.

I have seen a few. My grandfather who died in 1971 walked with me one night after I had my first child. He walked beside me looking into the carriage. When I came to where I was going, he bent over, looked in real close, covered my baby up, patted him on the cheek, looked back at me and smiled and walked off. Even my husband seen it. That was my first time seeing a figure. The last house I lived in was some kind of portal, serious, I had an expert over and he was ready to bring a team in to study it. I have pics of faces and energy throughout the house. Neighbors had noticed strange things happening at the house, no one has ever been hurt, though some have peed their pants and not been back. Like when someone sets a cold glass on the table and the glass comes up in the air and moves over to a coaster before your eyes with no one holding it. Yeah, you can pee your pants. I miss that house sometimes. Being a single mom the kids would take off to friends and yet I was never alone.

Geez. For me, that is a hard question to answer. I have been dealing with meeting the other end since I could remember. I communicate with them when they come to me. I just do not consider them as ghost. I find out from others that they would be terrified of having any contact. With me, it become so common that I think of them as human being who needs me in order to communicate with their love ones here on planet earth. Every time any of them contact me, I say to myself, "Oh great, what do you want?"

Seen no.
Felt yes.
The lady who lived in my house before me, was older. She died in here, and she had my same first name.
Sometimes the house would suddenly smell of "old lady" smells. Then I had a priest come to the house and he blessed the house. She hasn't been back since.

Not really. I swear I see someone out of the corner of my eye all the time at work (hospital) but noone is there. Sometimes it scares the sh!t out of me. I do believe little kids see angels though, my own kids are my proof of that.
