Hello people I click the "Windows update" then while the update is finished it says " You may be a victim of software counterfeiting" in Microsoft genuine. Whats that? This is my fist time to hear on this problem. Pls help me and thank you all in advance.

Pirated? Dios mio. I dont know about this kind of things. Other people just install on this program on my PC.

Your Windows system is not authentic, call your local seller or from where you got the cd and find out what is going on. If you got that message, your system has been pirated for sure.

Dude, I had the same problem on my computer. Did your window came installed on your computer and did you buy your computer at the authorized retailer. This message comes up if 2 or more computer have windows installed and activated with the same key. I would suggest that if you purchased a windows, which is not an authorized version of windows that you re-install it using a different key, or if you have purchased the copy of windows from a retailer in the store that you contact them and tell them about the problem.
But usually this happens with 'pirate' versions, so you will just have to reinstall it and everything will be ok.

See recently Microsoft has launched a new program named as Microsoft Genuine Advantage Tool. When you are trying to update any thing or downloading any thing this tool will check for your opearting system installed in your computer. If you are using genuine copy it will continue to download or update else it will display the error message as above. If you are using genuine os copy call microsoft sure they will help you else no way to escape form this step :)

it means that u might have had a copied version of windows on the system, theres a download genuine advantage on the mircosoft site and ull know that way, if its not authentic then u wont be able to load things
