Do you know any programs that can capture parts of a movie/video? One that can work for windows 2000 and one that is free or has a trial version. But besides all that are listed here, because I tried them all already:
Video Impresion
AVS Media
VideoReDo
Blaze media pro
windows movie maker(I didn't know it wasn't for windows 2000)
and other but I can't remember them right now.

Spend about $60 and get Pinnacle Studio 10.5. It is well worth the cost. I use it to turn Mini DV tapes from my palmcorder to DVDs as well as record old VHS tapes to DVD (to do both of these, you need a firewire connection for the palmcorder and RCA inputs for video and sound for recording VHS tapes from a VCR.)

if u wanna take a pic try power dvd.
else try muvee maker or srch for movie editing software
