If something depends directly or indirectly on the Moon, then all things that depend on that first thing can themselves start depending on the Moon. If the farmer can keep harvesting for longer by the light of the full moon, then he'll probably sleep less than usual afterwards, so he'll be more sleepy the next day than usual. That means there's a connection between the phase of the Moon and the sleepiness of the farmer, even though no special sleepiness rays come from the Moon to affect farmer's brains. That sleepy farmer may not feel like playing his usual card game with the neighbors the next day, so then there is a connection between the lunar phase and the playing of card games. The neighbors may have seen this coming, and may have decided not to bake the cake that they usually eat while playing cards, so now there's a connection between the lunar phase and the sale of cake ingredients. In this way, very indirect connections can arise between things of which you would not expect this at first sight.

People with mental disorders tend to get affected!!The palnets exert varied degrees of effects on all human beings and astrology is mainly based on that as a science. Moon being the nearest exerts its effects on all living things in earth( Of course, astrology is not 100% scientific( Like Moon is not a planet) but I am making a general statement on observations)

Many people believe the moon to affect the moods of people in many ways but I think it is all a myth! Sleep depends on the state of one's body; if the body is tired of being active, the person is automatically forced to fall asleep!

i don't know about the way people sleep, but it certainly affects their personality. i've worked in retail and you can always tell when the full moon is almost out because you get the strangest questions. so yeah given that i would think it could affect sleep

I know for a fact that it effects my sleep. I can close the blinds shutters put blankets over the window it doesn't matter. And to make it worse my bedroom window faces the West.

It is possible. The moon has a gravational pull on the tides, our bodies are made mostly of water, so it may have a pull on the water in our bodies too, so its possible
