could u turn a blind eye to your partner cheating? could u just pretend that he/she wasn't going out to meet someone else? i couldn't but i know people that do just wonder what people here think!

I also could't and didn't !!!! why would someone want to set their self up for more pain and heart break.. I don't know why someone would look the other way unless they where cheating to...

No I couldn't. I have a no tolerence policy. I refuse to stay with someone that has hurt me. I could never forget it and everyday spent with that person would be a reminder. I know so many people who accepts this and they are miserable but scared to lose the person. I will not be unhappy by staying with someone in no lifetime. I often wonder whats wrong with these peole. It has happen more than once with some and they still want to marry them. Go Figure. I guess its low self esteem too.

Do you know what I think is "stupid"? To assume that you know what these people are going through! Do you know what it is that is truly happening in their lives?? Why they are turning a blind eye? Why they are cheating or being cheated upon? Choose to be an intelligent person and never assume that every answer in life is so cut and dry! Peace.

No, I couldn't but for some it seems easier than dealing with a breakup. Little do they realize that if they are being cheated on they can do better and will if they let go.

My friend done that because she loved him sooo much she was willing to turn a blind eye, she knew he loved her too so put up with it. I couldnt cope knowing my husband was with someone else it would kill me. They are now married with twin girls, he is now faithful. People say she was stupid but i think she was brave really, to put up with it because she knew he was the one for her. That might sound daft but she won him in the end.

People who do that are the ones who think they have no other option. The moment they realize that they DO have other options the cheating partner is doomed.

I think you should confront them or tell the other person if they don't know they are being cheated on. 2 on 1 is good odds.

I could not but my step-mother put up with my father due to financial status. She had kids of her own that she could barely support. So My dear father was allowed to go about as he pleased even though she would complain about it.

i would let them do it, why? coz i care about my partner, i want my partner to have pleasures in life, i dont want be selfish, also i would ask my partner what he can do what i cand or do not do,
but for sure i would explain that to her that it is not coz i dont love her but coz i love her i let her do what she wants...
so its not blind eye, it just letting her do what she wants...
i think it is better to know than cheat yourself

I couldn't. it's not fair to the person that is being cheated on. In any case like that ther person should be dumped.
