If you are looking for opinions of movies for you to rent, check out this website. It gives you ratings based on people voting on it (it even breaks the voting down into age groups or gender in case that plays a part in whether someone liked the movie or not) and their reviews or comments about it. You can view trailers, read plots, etc. The website is the Internet Movie Database. The home page is at www.imdb.com but below are a couple of links directly to the top 50 thrillers and top 50 horrors (also shows worst 10 at the bottom I think). Anyway, happy movie hunting. Hope you can scare yourself silly, lol.

You actually rent this stuff.
I don't scare from movies.
I watched some garbage called Rottweiller and laughed
2001 Maniac was hilarious.
Dead and Breakfast just amusing.
The only thing I saw recently with any teath to it was Hostel and it put me to sleep in parts.
If you want to ne scared see if you can find something in 3D. Jaws 3 was pretty good in 3D.
Or go for a classic like Phantasm, The Exorcist, Rosemary's Baby, or the Omen. Those are pretty good for a sqirm.
But don't go out and rent something solely because three people said it was good. Look at the jacket. Check out the cast and the director. you have to like what you see to like what you see.

That movie stinks! I bought an asian film called 'A Tale of Two Sisters' from Best Buy.It scared me so bad I had to turn the lights back on. See that if you can (I think they show it on IFC too). It starts slow and turns up the spooky factor slowly, asian directors are good at that.

It's ok, but if you like indie films. I thought it was a tad overrated...but you don't seem like the kind of person to like movies like Requim or Memento anyway. LoL
Scariest movie...I would have to say is one called "High Tension" it's french (I watched it with subs, but you can do dubs) - it is seriously VERY intense and will freak you out...trust me. ^_^

I found it quite sad to be honest, not boring... The whole theme of the movie is how drugs ruin people.
