I spent winter of 2004 in Karachi Pakistan it was great. Like a spring day in the US all winter long. A little chill in the air and my in laws would say it was so cold and I would just love it. I think Egypt would problably be very similar in climate.

Egypt is a great idea! And if you don't want to see snow... it's a good place to go. But I for example like winter and next time want to visit Austria or Finland. I like skiing. What do you think about Greece?

Actually, I love winter. So, I'll just stay where I am, Indianapolis.
Summer is a different story. Seattle wouldn't be bad.

Jordan, and Lebanon(assuming the war ends soon)
The dead sea and the red sea are warm during the winter. Also Beirut is warm during the winter.
Also in Lebanon they have(had) ski resorts
