I enjoyed the second installment. The cannibals were great as was Jack's face paint during that scene. The fruit incident was a bit over the top, but the cages the men are hung in were pretty funny as was the dialog that went on between the two groups.

Meeting Will's father and all the effects that went into Davy Jone's men was fascinating. I liked the fact that watching the film kept your eyes busy looking at everything that comprised of each scene. Every member of Davy Jones' crew was done in detail, and each crew member's physical characteristics changed throughout the movie.

The fight scene near the end of the movie was very long and got tiring but not boring as the location of the sword play was beautiful.

Overall I would give the movie an 8, props for great dialog and very interesting characters. Even the cliffhanger ending didn't make me feel like I was missing something, only expecting greatness in the film yet to come.

The following answer is worded such that anyone who has seen and remembers the movie should know what I'm talking about and yet hopefully doesn't spoil anything for those who haven't.

I liked the movie. It answered a few of the questions left by the first one and introduced a few more. (questions like, was the monkey still cursed?, was bootstrap bill already a cursed immortal when they sent him to the crushing depths?, etc)

I especially enjoyed the big wheel and Elizabeth's fight scenes.

The ending BEFORE the credits was interesting, I'm looking forward to the explanation of how "he" got there after what happened to "him" in the first film.

The ending AFTER the credits was funny. I think it might have been more humorous if he still had the keyring at that point, even around his neck.

Good but the first one was better - there were more jokes and stuff. I thought that captain at the end was dead. what happened there?

Loved it! Lots of surprises and Johnny and Orlando were gorgeous, as usual! I can't wait to see Keith Richards playing Captain Jack's dad in the 3rd one! That will be hilarious!

I loved it...I thought it was funnier than the first (Johnny Depp was hillaious)

I didn't like the seamonster villians as much tho.. creapy. Slimely!

Loved the part about them being captured on the island! too funny!!

The ending...kinda strange..but leading up to Pirates 3...so I'm ok with it.

The first one was much better. Why did Jack try to kill Will? What happened to their friendship? Why did Elizabeth kiss Jack and try to kill him? Why didn't she explain to Will? Do those two just not love each other now? It was just alot of special effects with no plot. The first one was wonderful and they should have stopped there.
