I think that your scenario while not impossible (not much is impossible in this world) is rather unlikely. However in order to answer your question it is important to understand the issues that are present to all Arab Countries, The State of Israel, and the United States.
There are six issues with the current crisis and with your scenario that threaten the Arab World at the moment.
1. Economic:
A: If war continues to escalate and more Arab Countries involve themselves against Israel in a war, Arab Countries will receive less tourism and foreign aid from the United States and the western countries.
B: As with any war in the Middle East, world gas prices would continue to rise and would eventually reach a breaking point. As such I believe that less consumption of gas would be the end result for OPEC, which only wishes to increase its profits and cannot do that with a long-term war in the region.
2: Diplomatic
If countries such as Egypt (which has a treaties with Israel) enter the conflict, they can expect no sympathy since they would be breaking their agreement. Pakistan can also expect no support from the United States for any attack on Israel and could then be encouraged diplomatically by not only the USA but the threat of India opening a second front on their borders with the Kashmir region.
3. 3rd party participants entering Israeli side of conflict
Unless Israel ends up in serious danger of being defeated, I do not foresee any nation entering the conflict on behalf of Israel. Israel has already fought 3 wars with its Arab neighbors for the purpose of self-defense. In all 3 wars the aggression of its Arab neighbors was swiftly defeated. This is why the extremists who live in the Arab countries have resorted to terrorism against Israel because they know that direct military action against Israel is pointless.
4. 3rd Party participants making war against Israel
As previously stated with Pakistan and Egypt, aggressive actions from uninvolved nations do not result in positive action. With that in mind if Iran and Syria attack the US Military in the region, the USA now has an excuse to topple both those governments. Remember that the USA already considers both countries sponsors of terrorism and is more than capable than removing both governments from power. I seriously do not believe that both the governments of Syria and Iran would attack the US Military because they know this.
5. Non-conventional weapons, use of WMD
If anyone would make the first use of WMD in this conflict, it would not be Israel. The reason it would not be Israel is that world support of Israel's right to defend itself would be significantly reduced. Israel's role has always been that of being the victim, which allows Israel to continue to receive support from western countries
6. Secondly it is more likely that Islamic terrorists would instead make the first use of WMD, either that be first strike use of chemical or nuclear weapons. If that happens terrorists groups give Israel an excuse to use low yield tactical nuclear weapons against Hamas and Hezbollah, which they know would result in numerous Arab casualties. While I do believe that Hamas and Hezbollah would push Israel that far, I do not believe they are willing to take that chance.

Well, Your scenario is off by a little bit. I will fix it for you. Syria will not attack Israel until they invade Lebanon. Then Iran will lend arms to Syria and fire rockets into Israel. The U.S. will then respond by allocating weapons and troops to Israel and moving some troops to the Iranian border in Iraq and Syrian border in Afghanistan. This will bring Saudi Arabia to the table and they will start to move the oil prices up. The U.S. will then seize control of all of the Iraqi Oil fields. Then WW III will officially begin.
Some of your statements are very insightful, except on Israel. Israel is not acting recklessly, they are reacting to this crisis in a manner of survival. They are outnumbered and surrounded. They have be persecuted through out history and were nearly eradicated from the earth. Now, they fight back and fight better than any group in modern history. The Israeli's fought a four front war against the Palestinians and won. Three fronts won't scare them off.
Al- Qaeda will most likely not attack the U.S. on American soil, they now that if it turns to all out war, One good missile attack and they are wiped out.
Watch what the Russians and China start doing, they are the x factor in this whole thing.
Vegas odds. 2 to 1 we will be in WW III by September.
4 to 1 that we will win it.

It is all possible, but not likely . The Arab countries do not recognize Israel & more than likely never will. Travel to an Arab country & ask for a map of the middle east. Israel is not shown nor does it show that it exist. Ask an arab why it isn't shown & they will reply its not there. When you ask where is it? You will not get an answer. Palestine has always been claimed as Arab property by the arabs. Keep in mind to an arab anyone who is not muslim is an enemy/infidel. Politics in the arab area's of the world are complex at best. Keep in mind the arabs themselves fight among themselves. If you think americans are prejudice our worst don't hold a candle to an arab. The extremest arab would eliminate all of us. Keep in mind as was shown in Iraq. When an arab is met with a stronger force his desire to fight stops and he surrenders. Is your scenario likely to happen? I would say no.
