No, that's not possible because European citizens, by and large, are consumed by democracy.

They fully believe in their democratic rights, to have an absolute monarch, whose word is the Law and controls every aspect of their life, would be unacceptable to them.

However, hypothetically as you say, there some Monarchs who would appeal to Europeans, if they had chosen to stick with the monarchy system.

One name would definitely be, King Juan Carlos of Spain (Bourbon dynasty), he is extremely popular at home and respected in Europe. He is viewed as a caring Monarch, who stepped in, to defend the rights of his people by returning democracy to Spain after Franco's death. He was actually an absolute Monarch upon ascending the throne, as Franco's designated successor.

Having given up power, he once again ensured parliamentary democracy flourished in Spain, when he refused to recognise a military coup in the early 80s.
The Royalists/Government are viewed with suspicion in Catalonia, but the King remains popular with the masses.

And finally, there is actually 1 reigning absolute monarch in Europe. But the 'King' is voted into office first. He only gains that power upon being chosen as 'King'.

He is none other than the Pope. Pope Benedict XVI, is the Supreme Pontiff (Monarch) of the Vatican City (a recognised state). His is the final word on all issues of the Church and the conduct of the Holy See, in all its' political roles.

My choice would be the Pope.

I'm not sure. What kind of monarchy is it?? Is it a constitutional monarchy or is it an absolute monarchy?? There is a difference. A monarchy is when a country is continuously run by one family and most of their descendants. A constitutional monarchy is when the king and queens power is slightly limited and parliment (elected leaders and members of the royal family) help make decisions. An absolute monarchy is where all of the decisions are made by the King and or Queen. This includes King Henery VIII of England, Former emporors of China and Japan, and other European nations and even some Latin American countries Pre- European Dominance. FYI Hilter did not run a monarchy because he was not a member of the royal family, Germany was a democratic when he became a cahncellor and he worked up his power to become a dictator , he ran a facist/ communist dictatorship. Pay attention in history people!! Honestly though I'm not a big fan of the monarchy, because a monarchy comes with a class sytam, and I don't really think class systems are fair, because u are born into a class and it's hard to move up in the system!! However the Medici's did a lot for Italy during the Renaissance. They brought new arts and revived old forms of greek art, they also changed the political system. and just imagine all of the things they could do now with todays Technology!!

Well it depends what area and region. You had the Holy Roman Empire, which was ruled by the Hapsburgs, this family still exists today, with Archduke Otto Von Hapsburg as the head. You had the German Empire, with the Hohenzollerns as head, Kaiser Wilhelm was the last Kaiser. This family still exist today, with Prince Georg Friedrich as head of the house of Prussia. The other monarchies that exist today, existed back then. So are you talking about a united europe, such as the eu appointing a king or queen, or the old monarchies?

I guess you don't think Great Britain is part of Europe? And Monaco isn't either? Okay. We'll skip those.
Will Europe see a resurgance in rule by monarch? Highly unlikely. But if such a state were to come about, the Continent (and the US) is knee deep in claimants to various crowns and thrones. They are so intermarried it wouldn't really make much difference which one you chose.

Well monarchy haven´t stop ruling since the time of Queen Elizabeth I, in England, the fact is that the U.K. has been rule by the monarchy all along even now and they will keep on doing it for ever and ever, they are stupid, they are evil, and like the Nazis they will never leave power as long as one of their own still lives.
So the best candidate is prince Charles and his sons. It´s scary is it?.

The monarchal system is archaic, if anything dictators would take power via a revolution or election and then instate their children to replace them when they died.
