Sounds like the egr valve. Just pull the vaccum line off and plug the vaccum line with a screw. That should fix the problem....provided that it is the egr valve that's causing the jerking. Also check for vaccum leaks while your doing it. Check all the vaccum lines to see if they are dry rotted. You may find a few. Good luck.

Its the miracle of modern technology. if it was an old car it would have died. you probably need a tune up. Take it in and ask for a tune up. if you say that its running rough they will charge you for a diagnosis and then a tune up, when they will probably find the problem under the tune up labor. bye the way you have a rough idle condition, is how we say it.

Could need a tune up plugs,plug wires,air filer,fuel filter,oxygen sensor,air flow sensor,ect.... or a vacuum leak could do that to.The timing belt or chain might need to be replaced to.

Do a tune up, check air filters, add injector cleaner to fuel to see if that helps.
