Apply pimple cream, avoid fried foods and chocolates. Drink lots of water. Sleep enough. There's an old wives tale to spray vinegar on yr skin since its acidic and it can kill germs. But dilute vinegar with water first.

Hi there!!Instead of just treating the pimples find the reason first.
pimples can come due to many reasons. Hormonal imbalances are one main reason. Assuming you are a girl, are your periods regular? If not it could be due to a high testosterone count. How balanced are your thyroid hormones. Most ppl think they have it all balanced until they check it.Cardio Exercise and yoga are ways to balance the hormones. Dandruff could be another. If you use a twowhealer then you ll be prone to it that is if you do not protect your skin. Stress leads to zits too.If you can get to the root of the cause and prevent it, there ll be no need to get a medicine every month to cure the pimples. I hope this was useful to you.

dear mintz, I have a condition called cystic acne and it is very difficult to prevent but the only thing that worked for me was proactiv solution. there is other little things you can do as well to reduce the size and redness of pimples, such as using a regular toothpaste as a spot mask to dry out the pimples or putting visine on the pimple to reduce the redness. I found all of these to work immensely well.

I found that Serious Skin Care's A-Copper cream works well. You can use it everyday & it doesn't dry your face out. There is a 3 piece kit with a spray, serum & face cream. You can get on HSN. Also that line has a concealer blemish stick, the best I've used.

Sweating is a good way to rid yourself of spots... drink plenty of water, go for a jog or a cycle, even give yourself a steam bath (big bowl full of boiling water... maybe a menthol crystal or two... towel over your head to trap the steam... SWEAT!) Or get a job washing dishes in a kitchen.

I use Dalatcin T - It's a topical solution which you apply on your face and it really helps.
A more expensive method is to eat isoretinol A capsules (buy from dermatologist). Each capsule is about S$3.

Have fresh vegies and stay away from spices. Gather information about Multani mitti (a special kind of soil) and use it as a face pack.

zits that come up now and then? you can dry them out overnight by putting toothpaste on them before you go to bed.
also to prevent them, drink a lot of water every day and cut down on oily foods. wash your face with a good quality cleaner twice a day )no more than that, it strips your face of the natural oils)
good luck.

Try a product called Acne Free. It is sold in most drugstores. It is not just for Acne but for your problem as well. My daughter uses it and the results are fantastic.

Stridex pads are the best, but they sometimes dry out your face.
