I do. I don't think it's a waste of time. It's relaxing, educational and good way to keep up on current events. I enjoy a lot of the reality shows. And good movies.

I like TV for news and sports, but that's about it. People have let TV become a crutch to avoid taking on real responsibilities. How many people are watching "The O.C" rather preparing their child's future?
TV has propagandized our children into immoral behavior that wouldn't have been acceptable to people just 10 years ago. Just watch MTV for a day. Its our nations first soft-core porn channel on basic cable.
The people that will get ahead in this world and truly enjoy a fulfilled life are going to be the people that shut off the TV, step up to the plate in regards to personal responsibilities and goals, and start living the life God intended you to live.

The people who makes them, and those who sell them. They need the $$.
And they are necessities in life now (if the people living in the bush has a TV, they may like them. Since some may not know what a TV is, it is moot point).
TV is as bad as mobile phone! But you cannot live without it; unless you are out of circulation!

I used to when I was younger. OF course there was no Computers/Internet then. Now if I watch 2 hours a week that maybe to much.

I do but not as much as my husband. he has to have the big screen, High Def, Surround sound, Satellite with every channel and Tivo!
