I was talking to a Russian chick last night at a club (wow!) and she made a point that to her it seemed like many people in the U.S. acts like they're still in highschool. Actually I totally agree and not just because she was a 6 ft. tall hot vollyball player either.

I'm from Scandinavia and I have been living in the USA for some years now. Yes it's like a big sandbox here. People are extremely immature and act incredibly juvenile. The colleges here for instance are like "high schools with ash trays". People have extremely childish interests. Go to Disneyland , there you will see adults wearing mickey mouse ears. its incredible ... One reason why it is like this here is because people live such pathetic life's with basically no freedom at all. They have all most no vacation for instance. I don't know , maybe they are trying to somehow cheer up their pathetic little life's . By the way , the living standard is much better in the Scandinavian countries then USA.

Most Americans are immature due to the restrictions (IE: forced poverty, lack of education, etc.) placed upon us that most do not even notice. They are too busy trying to make ends meet to worry about the rest of the world. We are basically duped into relying on our government to tell (sell) us everything, the general public just doesn't see it because they have no real exposure to the rest of the world. (TV watching and Internet use do not constitute exposure to the world society) The United States is one big play pen, so I am not at all surprised she sees us in that light. Example, most Americans still think Mid Easterners are just a bunch of third world "chimps", too, but nothing could be further from the truth. Most of them are far more educated than we are. As is the rest of the world. Americans think we have a democratic state and in theory, we do, however, we are actually a slave driven nation with "freedom" to make it appear we are making decisions for ourselves. It keeps people "quiet" if they think they can do what they want. Oh yeah, and look what fear does! Wonders!
We don't ALL act as if we are still in high school. Some of us are cultured.

The answer to the question can be summed up in 2 words. Bill Clinton. Due to BJ Clinton's personality "if it feels good, do it no matter who it hurts or what happens" attitude many people, especially adults these days continue to act like 14 year old children or worse high school children. What a shame that this jerk (Clinton) had to rise to the highest government office in the US only to show those less intellecutal how to have a good time and not worry about the consequences.

So she made a statement, where is her backup? I can say anything about anyone, but without discussion it's meaningless. And yes, you did agree with her because she was good looking.

Did you ever bother to wonder why a russian chick was here in the USA talking to american guys in clubs, calling americans names? And ur so dumb you agree with her. No wonder the world is laughing at us. Its because of dumb bunnies like you that kick ur own countrymen in the balls for a piece of ***.

Soap Operas and drugs. I find that anyone watching these shows or uses drugs and alcohol stops maturing at the age they begin these behaviors. Now this is a generalization so let me say here that there are no absolutes so there are accept ions to this statement.

I would suggest to white bread America that a personal, home based ban on soap operas will help your children, and possibly yourself, grow to mature and sensable adults.

I don't know, but there are many people who think that high school was the best time of their lives and are still living in that world. I think those people need to do something with their lives to get over it.
