I live in Australia and I want to become a distributior. I'm going to regester a record label soon but, theres so many good CD's from America that would sell better that half the CD's in the shops here but, there not over here. So I want to bring a whole new selection of music to Australia and distribute it throughout the retail section. How do I regester as a distributior and get all the information on how to actually do it?

In order to distribute music in a country yet unlicensed, you would need to obtain permission and pay for distribution licensing to each of the recording labels involved. They hold the rights to the wholesale distribution of their product, and will want a good piece of the profit in order to share it.
