As far as an organic pest management system you can take a gallon coffee can and put stale beer, spoiled yogurt or a mixture of yeast and water. Bury the can with the lip of the can even with the surface of the soil. Place a lid on the can with holes cut in it large enough for the slugs or snail to get in but small enough to keep large animals from drinking it. Clean it once every week or two. This works because the slugs and snails are attracted to stale beer. They climb in, drink it, fall in and drown. -- Reminds me of some ex boyfriends lol

Salt is ideal depending on the size of the area. You could sprinkle it straght on to the slugs and go back 15 minutes later and hose it off any plants. Its best applied directly on the slugs or snails. You could also dilute it in water and spray as you can with dishwashing liquid but again, hose it off.
Another idea is to put down shallow dishes with beer in it. The slugs like it, slip in and drown, then pick up the next day.

From my own experience I find the best way to rid your allotment from Slugs is to create two or three perimeters around your ground using slug pellets (you can purchase them in large quantity bags or small boxes from most garden centres or even supermarkets). Pick the odd few off that are still within the perimeter and dispose of them.
I have tried many options to try and rid my garden and allotment from the pests, but so far the Slug Pellets option is by far the cheapest and most efficient.

If what you are performing is no longer working then it's about time you take this to another stage with the aid of somebody who has been in your shoes and learned the artwork of getting and attracting girls, Joshua Pellicer and the responses you may find in his book Tao of Badass here https://tr.im/gdpA4 .
Joshua Pellicer is just a relationship skilled, who reveals guys most of the techniques behind getting the lady they want to get and Tao of Badass is an on-line plan that attempts to show men how to get any attractive and hot woman they desire.
With this amazing manual you will even get six bonuses, including the online video Human Body Language Mastery, along with three free benefit books.
The different films are also exemplary, particularly the Human anatomy Language Mastery series. These contain some very nice information that a lot of guys simply do not know about. As soon as you do know, but, you'll question the method that you got by without it.

As you work around the plot, carry a plastic bag or something and collect them up. Salt would burn your plants so son't use it.
If you can get something like old roofing slates, you lay those on the soil and they hide in the damp soil underneath.
Beer traps are really effective, I don't bother making them as I live near a pub and just use the beer cans that people chuck over the hedge.

Try crushed egg shells, shredded newspaper, garden pea shingle,in fact anything that causes a loose rough surface the slug leaves a slime trail any loose material gets attached to the slug causing it to lose grip and making it easy prey for birds

i had this self same problem in my back garden, i did not want to use slug pellets as i had a lot of wild life, Hedgehogs, song-thrushes etcetera, i went to my local garden centre and asked them the question, their advice was to use a natural predator to control the situation,
they sold me an envelope of the parasitic predator called "NEMA-SLUG" the contents of this envelope was mixed into a vat of water and then sprayed over the affected area,
after about 3 weeks i noticed that the amount of slugs and snails in my garden had greatly reduced, now they are virtually gone, but my Hedge-hog and Song-Thrush still visit my garden together with their young.

Salt IS a good solution, as I have used it myself. But you can't get it on the plants, it will kill them ( as I found out! ).But you can put them into a container of salt, if you want to pick them up !
I've also heard that if you put small containers of beer around the areas, that will also kill them. Like in a jar lid, something short enough for them to crawl into.
