God, I have tried everything that you could possibly name. I have to tell you that this was not an easy task because keeping the oil at bay has its own negative consequences. One of which is clogging the pores. Depending on the severity of the problem, you may choose to go with mineral makeup. However, wear something that does not contain impurities, such as Bismuth. That in turn means that you should not wear Bare Escentuals and a bunch of others. From the group of mineral makeups, I suggest Everyday Minerals at everydayminerals.com. Ask for Matte coverage and the company can send you free samples. These are the purest minerals in the market. If you are still too oily to handle EM, you are most likely as oily as I am. That said, visit Prescriptives counter and use Flawless foundation. This is a great product in that it does not clog the pores and your foundation will not melt. With all due respect to other brands, such as MAC and Chanel, none does as good as the job that Prescriptive does.

Cover Girl makes a great creme to powder foundation for oily skin.
My skin tends to get shiny and it takes care of that with no pore-clogging or caked look.
