If you're actually being told that the reason why you're not getting those jobs is because you don't qualify, that's a sign you need to add to your experience.
Now it all depends on the kind of work you're seeking and what level. Some jobs need someone with a college degree and at least 5 years work experience. Now there might be some flexibility, say 3 years experience, but if you don't even have that, then you're out of luck.
I would suggest looking at career websites to get an idea as to the basic requirements for certain types of jobs. You can find this on sites like careerbuilder.com, monster.com, salary.com, etc.
Also looking at job postings is a good idea because they often list some specific requirements, which helps you know what those employers are looking for. Perhaps, you'll need to go back to school, pick up some more experience in the field, etc.
Either way, being denied over and over again because you're not qualified is a sign that you're not ready at this stage to work in that area without more experience and/or education.

ok..here is what I would do..I hope it helps...
1. think about why you left....did you have friends that worked at the same business? If you did, ask them what they are saying about why you left. If you don't, please call them and explain why you left. (It is illegal for them to put anything on your record..but companies still do it)
2. Create a resume'. Get help if you need to. make it nicely polished. Talk about what jobs you have held, your work ethics, etc.
3. Don't forget to list any schooling that you may have.
4. When filling out job applications, be honest..and don't write some $ to high..they will honestly turn you away..It is best to take what they have to offer, and then move up in $ within the company. Once you are seen as a good worker, it will honestly work in your favor.
5. When these people say "no" ask them why..don't be afraid to. Tell them that you want to make yourself better, You really like their company and hope to one day work there. ask them for any ideas on what you can do. Then work towards their suggestions. In a few months, or if you have some of their suggestions down, resubmit your letter of interest and resume and put on them that you are working towards a goal of, but have successfully completed ..what ever it was (but i wouldnt write that they suggested it..they will notice that on their own).
Be a hard worker...give it your all..it will show...don't be a goof ball..it will tarnish your resume for life..until you have more stuff to put on there...remember...that your resume is an outline of your life....
The important thing is...remember do not burn bridges before you cross them, next time. It is important to stay professional, give a letter of notice (2 weeks preferred, 1 month better)
good luck!

How about investing in an education and getting the skills you need to be hired. If you're not qualified, you need to get qualified.
Also a word to the wise - never quit a job unless you have another job to go to, no matter how bad the first job is.

When you get this response, ask what you can do in the future to make yourself more competitive. Find out WHY you didn't get the job.
Also, make sure you meet all of the requirements before applying for a job. And follow up after every application! Try to avoid HR - send your resume directly to the person who supervises the position you applied for!

Maybe they're just telling you the truth and you need to buff up your education. If you do have valid skills, then you might try signing with a temp agency; they could get you in the door and many times the company you're sent to will offer you a permanent position.

I have the same problem! To be accepted for a job they believe everyone needs experience, the sad thing is no one is willing to take new people into the working force, how can anyone get experience than. Get experince, or try other pathways. Ask for tips for furthering your application to become acceptable

Either you didnt apply for a fitting job or your qualification is below average. In either case, you have to change yourself to find an apt job for you.
To say more, be specific in what you want to be and be confident in the area you look in for. For sure, you can make it.
All the best.

I am at the same situation, so far I have not a success but the job I have is because of my friend's reference. So, connection, networking is really a big help, I think.

Apply for jobs that you are actually qualified to do. Stay in school so you'll be qualified to do meaningful jobs when you graduate. Good luck.
