Limewire download?

does anyone know how to get rid of a firewall on limewire so i can start downloading?

can anybody tell me how to get rid of it?

how do i find out what firewall im using? i go on limewire and the brick wall appears on the globe and i cant get rid of it?

I tried Limewire, and didn't like it. I got WAY to much crap pop ups and spy ware junk. I personally use Morpheus and I think it works pretty well, just get the free version and a copy of the Adaware spyware tool. That works for me. If you google search both of those, the links are readily apperent.

In the top left hand corner there should a connect option or it might be in file, the firewall will let you download then hopefully. Just make sure you deny access if warnings po up for certain downloads, also look at song time before you download because it's a good indicator as to whether it is genuine or not. In the past i've donnloaded albums only to play them back and find they were all crappy ads from USA. Do you have a firewall on your computer, somthing like avg? If so just go to that and there should be an option to shut it down or if there's an option to allow just go on to that and allow limewire but personally I wouldn't because downloading anything without a firewall is just asking for viruses and spyware

You don't want to get rid of your firewall, you want to re-configure it so that you can download. Don't go on the internet without a firewall or you'll be back here within the hour asking for help with a virus or other malware.
Tou need to install Avast! anti virus as it has a P2P setting and will let you down load safely. It will check files that you want to download.
You also need to learn how to use your firewall. Read the Help manual in the program.
Never install Limewire on your administrators account, anyone who knows how can cause havoc with your pc. Use a limited account for Limewire.

What firewall did you instal? If you haven't, you've just got the Windows firewall and its cr*p. IT doesn't stop malware dialling out. You need to download and install a proper firewall.

I love Limewire and I'm an avid user. If I want to download a music file I use Limewire always. you should get limewire too. It's a good peer to peer software if you have to download mp3, movies, videos or file. Limewire is a safe and reliable pogram but like all peer to peer program you have to be careful of what you are donwloading from it. You always have to be cautious about what you download. Don't use torrents/downloads from other sites, they might be backdoored.

go back to the page where u downloaded limewire,there should b all sorts of other limewire dowloads,click on the one you cliked on before then scroll down there should be a download for java5.2 or somthing like that, you have to dowload that for your pc to comunicate to internet,if you allready have downloaded that an still dont work,then go into your program you get your fire wall from and fish around cause programs are differant,an you should be able to get on a page where you manueley can put in the programs you want it to acsepet .anyway thats what i had to do so hope it works good luck

You really don't want to download from lime wire I've used it a couple of times and have had to reboot my pc cos of all the crap it lets in
