Enough to pay the bills and have some fun. Enough to put my kids through college and still be able to eat. Enough to keep my teenage daughter in the custom she desires and still be able to afford gas for my car.
About a million ought to do it.

Very few people think they have enough money. Money is the root of all evil. :-)
But in the spirit of things. I would say that having enough to do what I want when I want and having all of my debt paid off would make me happy.

i am as happy with nothing as when im flush
but about 20 milion would save me woring about where the kids food is coming from
my gran used to say money cant make you happy but at least you can be unhappy in comfort

No amount of money will make anyone happy!! He or she will long for more and become unhappy always. For those who has only a penny will try to make it into pounds and a person who has ten pounds will always try for a million!!!!!

Actually, I don't think money makes you happy, because there alot of rich people on prozac! But I'm not saying I wouldn't like to have LOTS of it!

temporarily happy??? hmm even a dollar should do it to buy candy...but if it is HAPPINESS in all sense of the word...no amount of money can do it. it's only satisfying relationships (family, friends, lover, co-worker, etc) could do it for me.

happiness is an emotion...
humans have never been dumber to believe that materials can make them happy...
money can get you comforts...but not happiness...
its not money that makes you happy...but money invested in good actions can make you happy..
