kobe or mc grady??

let's say you own an nba team and you have the luxury to pick between kobe and T-mac to play for your team.. who would you choose and why??

kobe, he played longer, skiped college, scord 81 in one game AND he avgs 5.5 assists per game

Kobe, on one condition, I would have to tell him he has to be a better team player. He doesn't average that many assists, understandable, he is one of the greatest scorers of this generation, but I think the way the NBA is today, you have to be more of an all around player and not just a one demensional player. Another reason I would pick Kobe is his defense. He is a better defender than T-Mac. The final reason is because T-Mac cannot stay healthy. He's never played a full 82 games in his career.

Kobe. He has the second most points ever in a game by himself. But as far as helping his team win definitely T-mac. When T-mac is injured on average, the team is 0-8. With T-mac the team is 7-1. Even though I like T-mac more.

I would have to say Kobe because he has 3 rings but T Mac is a special player as well. Of course he never had the luxury of playing with a prime Shaq.

I think Kobe is a better player but i would go with T-Mac. Kobe has shown poor judgment (forget the rape trial) but he decided that he was the Lakers and did not need Shaq. If Kobe would have kept his mouth shut and found a way to co-exist with Shaq he would have more rings.... Look at Shaq, need I say more?

kobe definitely because he is an all around player and way better than tracy mcgrady although he is not that bad though. I would choose kobe cause if your team wasn't doing that well that night he could start scoring a lot and carrying your team.

t-mac he is better than kobe because kobe is only good cause no one else in his team steps up for the lakers .He does everything .Lets say put kobe in the pistons he wouldnt look as good there cause everyone is a team player and kobe mostly is the star who will do everything since no one else knows how in the lakers

While they are both good players-Mcgrady has been too injury-prone while Kobe has stayed relativily injury free. Kobe may be a better scorer,but Mcgrady has a better all around game. My choice would be Tracy Mcgrady. Kobe tends to try to play 5 on 1 sometimes.

Kobe avg. more rebs and asst. and pts. than T-Mac and the Lakers wouldn't have made the playoffs with T-Mac instead of Kobe. He's a better shooter and he's 1 of the top defenders in the league(NBA1st team defense)
