How do you multiply 70,000 by a factor of 10 twelths?

Multiply by 10 and divide by 12 - really, I would have thought fractions were still taught in third grade.

First multiply by 10; then divide the product by 12.

step 1) 70,000 x 10 = 700,000
step 2) 700,000/12 = 58,333
