Dyslexia is the most common learning disability in school.
Dyslexia is a condition which causes difficulty with reading , writing and arithmetic. Many claim it to be a neurological disorder but not everybody agrees with this.
The problems dyslexia causes have nothing to do with lack of intellectual ability, inadequate instruction or sensory problems such as poor eye sight or hearing problems. it's very common that more than one person in a family has it. like with us there are several people in my family that have it among them are two of my children.

I have been teaching for 15+ years, within special education classes - and have seen children diagnosed MOST frequently with:
NSLD - (non specific learning disorder, which includes the ability to process information too slowly, dyslexia, etc.)
ADD/ADHD (hyperactivity, can't focus, medicated)
Autism
Physical Learning Disabled (physical handicap, deaf, blind, etc.)
BUT, I have seen children dignosed with ADD/ADHD that I feel are overmedicated. If a child is having trouble in school, parents and teachers need to work together FIRST.

I would have to say either dyslexia or ADD...both are very debilitating on a young child..discourages them so quickly and is usually seen as a discipline problem rather than a learning disability

Disrespect and parents who don't care. Then ADHD, ADD which I think mostly is a big bunch of Crap (it's just an excuse for these lazy parent's to medicate their children so that they don't have to deal with them). Some cases are legitimate but most are not

it's actually immaturity. The world's children are becoming more and more immature with every generation, and one of the side effects is that these kids no longer see any reason to get an education.

Not doing one's own homework. This seriously disrupts the ability to learn.
