Very interesting theory...I'll look it up! I have low platelets, too! Looks like low red blood cells are what causes one to tire easily. I have low RBC as well. Go get a CBC (Complete Blood Count) with platelet count done.

How low is low? If your platelet count is extremely low and you are bleeding chronically, you could also be low of red blood cells as well. That would definitely make you tired. If you are taking any treatment for low platelets that might also cause you to be tired. Your doctor could do some tests to see what is causing you to be tired.

My mom is a doctor and she says low platelets can cause tiring..but i suggest u go to med checkup

platelets are for clotting the blood when it starts bleeding.
platelet counts should be normally between 150 - 400. shortage of platelets will not cause tiring. it may be because of low HB count. you better have your blood counts checked.

I believe that the platlets are for clotting of the blood. You probley have something else wrong.
