The shelling of Israel from the Gaza strip and from Lebanon ,and Syria,
has escalated the defence measures of Israel ,to a war footing.

,have you, made the mistaken assumption ,that Israel are the aggressors?
The problems in Afghanistan , Iraq, India etc.,
are laid squarely on Muslim fanatics, who wage war on all infidels ( none Muslims) Jihad

this is what is causing the blood-shed now, in all these regions.
And sadly this will escalate into WW3
unless we have an unbiased United Nations, to stop this madness .

Those who wish to become Muslim, just sit on your hands , you may or may not, be killed by the Muslim fanatics ,

LOL! you may , become some of their ' valued' martyrs.

No, a world war is less likely. What we're witnessing is a shift of the 20th century cold-war east-west division to a 21st century warmer-war north-south division. Where these two areas meet head-on (the mideast, the Koreas, and India/Pakistan) will remain "hot" for another generation. Terrorist activity and regional conflicts are more likely the result. Without the US, Europe, Japan, Russia and China involved, it's tough to call it a world war. The only wild card would be if China decided to invade Taiwan. I'm not sure how anyone would react to that.

I hope we aren't looking at a “world war”, at least not in the traditional sense where government fights government. In this world we live in there are just too many nuclear weapons to fight. Our elected employees could loose a war that wouldn't destroy everything we know. So, let us all hope that reason overcomes passion and we learn to live together respecting our differences.

As far as the world being at war, we seem to be at war with radical elements that choose to enforce their narrow perspective of living on all around them, and all they can bully or intimidate. This is a sad state of war, where the warriors hide behind innocent people and do not wear a uniform.

We here in the United States have been pretty well protected from the actual combat in this war of wills. That could change, and we may all have to choose weather or not to take up arms and fight. I sure hope not!

Please do everything you can to speak and act reasonably. Hate spreads like wildfire, love takes cultivation and care.

try reading Tom Clancy's "Red Storm Rising" -fantastic book - and an entirely crdible way a new world war could start even if it is slightly back in the days when russia was more of a world power

I do exactly like the component of Interstellar shuttle, warp speeds & billion 365 days previous civilisations, in the event that they could shuttle to us could they, why is it we will not discover any form of hint of intense potential outputs from those wormholes, warp engines in our very own galaxy's. How plenty is the governement keeping back whilst it says scans the skies. As they say in celebrity Trek "test For Warp Signatures" As for being arranged to conflict extraterrestrial beings, i think any that shuttle right here could be waiting to annilate us, i assume they could wish some form of stress container to shuttle at super speeds with the aid of spce, debris & micro comets & stuff, no longer to point area bugs on the windshield. You do understand the main powerful bomb ever detonated created a mushroom cloud 40 miles intense, probablr devestated the surronding section, that alter into 50 Megatons, they have been making plans for one hundred Megatons, however the russians ain't as loopy as they look. so besides that alter into what so as that alter into just about 40 years in the past, 15 years of delevoping nucleare wepons creates a bomb with fireball 5 miles in diameter a shockwave replace into felt over six hundred miles away, could of given third degree burns over sixty 5 miles away & the backside of the cloud replace into 25 miles extensive, that alter into whilst th ebomb replace into exploded at a top of two.5 miles, on the floor that could desire to of been made the destruction spred even extra beneficial. So with todays technologies a 200Megaton or perhaps 500 & a million Gigaton Bomb could just about cripple a small united states of america, england, scotland, wales, devastate maximum third international coutries yet then you definately could desire to get those issues to the extraterrestrial beings area ships, which may be armed with lasers & such what which might make our rockets extra deadly to us from emp blast to radiation fallout. extraterrestrial beings, warp velocity & billion 365 days previous civilizations, nicely one element at a time eh,
