I do not believe that the USA is the CAUSE of many problems in the world. I do believe that our current president is causing a lot of problems in the world.

The USA is NOT the cause of poverty in many third world nations.
The USA is NOT the cause of dictatorships in Cuba, North Korea and other counties where citizens live in fear of their own government.
The USA is NOT the cause of the Hezbolah, Hamas, the Islamic Jihad and other Islamic terror organizations choosing to murder innocent people in the name of religion when it is truly hatred.
The USA is NOT the cause of world leaders who chose to live in opulence while ignoring or harassing their poor citizens on their country.
The USA is NOT the cause of warlords in Africa fighting each other and condemning many of the poor people in the region to live in extreme poverty and starve to death.
I can go on and on with these situations where, clearly, the USA is not responsible.

When it comes to the United States fighting for basic human rights and democracy, Sometimes that is more than justified. It is EVERY nations responsibility to condemn nations which intentionally force any of their citizens to live a sub-human life of persecution and poverty. The Atrocities in the Holocaust needed to be stopped. The atrocities in Rwanda needed to be stopped. Too many nations step back and irresponsibly choose to ignore the situation and that is an ongoing problem.

Do we belong in Iraq? Not for the reasons given. That said, we do have a responsibility to give the Iraqi’s a better foundation for living with true human rights than Saddam Hussein did.

I also suspect that you are ignoring all the aid the USA has given to other countries in the times of disaster since your question has the flavor of Anti-USA sentiment. If I read it incorrectly, I am sorry.

I am proud to be an American. I am not proud of our current president. (Do you realize that in many countries, a person could be jailed, tortured and/or executed for saying what I just said about the leader of their country?)

Most of the world problems are caused by greed and bullying. When the U.S.A. does this it causes world problems. The problem is that it is universal because people all over the world are basically selfish and greedy. It is just that the U.S. is more powerful and can act that way. If Ethiopia or another poor nation was rich they would quickly become bullys and cause world problems. So in other words the haves will always boss the have nots around.

No. its because we are all sinners, and yes I mean every single person on this planet. We are so selfish, even those who give up their lives to help people because there will always be somethings else that they desire.

and one of the main problems is that no one will admit that they are sinners.

and as for the US sticking their nose in and wanting it done their way, think about the last time you did this to a friend or family member. Its the same thing, just a different context.

So stop tyring to blame it on one particular person or group of people and take some responsibility for your little corner of the world.

Not really. It seems that some like to blame the U.S. for everything (even its citizens), but really, U.S. society at large is probably the most fully realized democratic endeavor ever conceived in human history. Its not perfect, but its pretty damned close, compared to other such institutions in the world. Any who doubt this only need look at the number of people dying/trying to get here to pursue the "American Dream".

Further, I would be so bold as to state our model of government and free capitalism is the cure for what ails most of the Third World.

If the USA is the cause of the world's problems, then any person who speaks out at a City Council meeting must be the cause of that city's problems. Right?

the international economic equipment is considering Reagan a house of playing cards. the united states replaced into the motor of intake, gobbling up each little bit of inexpensive crap toy all and distinctive ought to produce. that is observed as self indulgence. The Europeans, Arabs and Asians loved it and pumped on a daily basis, convinced on a daily basis, 4 billion dollar into the united states, to keep the party going. No, people in general are. People are not perfect and often act and react without much thought. I don't feel you can blame one country or any country for the world's problems...as long as people roam the earth, something is going to get all screwed up.
