what is the procedure to accress other pc remotely via LAN?

i have more than 10 PC's on LAN with both win 2000 Professional & winxp professional. I want to access all the PC's remotely. I can do for winxp prof.
"My computer right click properties
then, remote
then, select the user and apply.
But i want to do for win2000 prof also, can u guide me how to do?

To connect TO an XP Pro computer FROM a NON-XP PC you need to get the client software from MS...

To go the OTHER way, you need to install server software on the other machines...
A good one to try is VNC...
