Because he has the greatest acting range,he does comedy,drama,love storys,my all time favorite is Raging Bull but I love Deerhunter,with a cast like DeNiro,Meryl Streep,Christopher Walken,Gimme a break!!Its great!And Flawless?Amazing,I honestly can not think of a DeNiro I do not like!!

... I like "Taxi Driver" .... Travis B. talking to himself ... working
every night ... it is a very good movie about a boy on the wrong way
AND it is a movie by Martin Scorsese ....
... and I like "Deer Hunter" very much.
But that's difficult to explain... a movie about Russians in Nam
and how they try to survive ...
... and I like "Casino" — esp. the entrance: the bomb, the
slow motion and the music of J. S. Bach...

He's a genius.
